Sie verfügt nur über eine Treppe und ist nicht Rollstuhlgängig. Die Passerelle dient der Erschliessung eines
Wohngebietes und als Hauptroute zum Erholungsgebiet am Gübsensee. Entstehen soll eine Verbindung für
Fussgänger und Fahrradfahrer über die Bahngleise welche rollstuhlgängig ist. Dazu ist ein nördlich
angeordnetes Rampenbauwerk erforderlich.
Im Variantenstudium werden vier verschiedene Tragwerke und Rampenverläufe entworfen. Ein T-Träger,
eine Bogenbrücke, eine Trogbrücke und ein Rahmenbauwerk wurden auf ihre Eignungen ihr Tragverhalten
hin untersucht. Daraus ergab sich, dass die Bogenbrücke am Besten geeignet ist.
Die Variante Bogenbrücke wurde in Detail projektiert und bemessen. Sie besteht aus einem Rampenbauwerk
und zwei Druckbögen mit einer dazwischen liegenden Stahlkonstruktion. Diese umfasst ein Fahrbahnblech
mit unten angeordneten Querträgern und Längsrippen. In der Bemessung werden die Widerlager und die
Rampenkonstruktion nicht weiter behandelt.
Mit der gewählten Variante sind die Anforderungen an ein dauerhaftes und robustes Tragwerk erfüllt. Die
bestehende Netzanbindung wird ausgebaut und die aktuelle Verkehrssituation verbessert. Entstanden ist eine
moderne und einzigartige Passerelle.
The existing pedestrian bridge south of the railway station St. Gallen Bruggen is in poor structural condition.
It has only one staircase and is not wheelchair accessible. The pedestrian bridge serves as development of a
residential area and as the main route to the recreation area Lake Gübsen. The aim was to create a
wheelchair-accessible route across the railway tracks for pedestrians and bikers. This requires a ramp
structure arranged to the north.
In the variant-study, four different supporting structures and ramp courses are designed. A T-beam, an arch
bridge, a trough bridge and a frame structure were examined for suitability and their load-bearing behavior.
The arch bridge was the most suitable.
The arch bridge is further processed and dimensioned. It consists of a ramp structure and two pressure arches
with a steel construction in between. This comprises a track plate with cross beams and longitudinal ribs
arranged at the bottom. The abutments and the ramp construction are not dimensioned further.
The selected variant meets the requirements for a durable and robust supporting structure. The existing
network connection will be expanded and the current traffic situation improved. The result is a modern and
