herstellerspezifisch in Robotercode umschreibt.
In the robotics, the offline-programming is characterized by an application, that can be simulated and
developed on a computer to be uploaded to a real robot after completion. This is being realized with the
program RoboDK at the university in Horw, in which a number of robot cells with Stäubli-robots are based.
However, this interface, which is used for the conversion, does not work in all of the cases. The aim of this
project is, by an analysis with many different use-cases, to find out, how this interface exactly works and
which errors are occuring while using it. A suitable concept targets to solve those problems. The analysis
shows, that the interface consists of a conversion of the simulation program (in RoboDK) in a list of action of
the simulation, and a postprocessor, which rewrites the list manufacturer-specific in robot code. The
conversion in the list (which is not manipulable) shows problems, like the lack of important functions and the
omission of the logic of the simulation program. Furthermore, the postprocessor works with faulty functions
and can’t rewrite some important commands.
The developed concept, that aims to solve those problems, consists of an impoved version of the
postprocessor an a python-library. The incorrect functions in the postprocessor are remedied, an all missing
functions for specific commands are implemented. The python-library is being imported and used by the
developer already in the simulation program. The library supports the programing with many different
functions and communicates through the conversion with the postprocessor, to bypass the not manipulable
conversion in the list of actions. Different tests, with new use-cases, but also with a test-case with many
different students, show the functionality of this concept in practice. Only the conversion in the list of actions
cannot be improved completly and in rare cases, leads to some problems of the application.
