Eines der Hauptziele der Schweizer Energiestrategie 2050 ist es, den Anteil an erneuerbaren Energien
im Schweizer Energiemix zu erhöhen. Die Solarenergie, als unerschöpfliche und frei zugängliche
Energiequelle, spielt bei der Umsetzung dieser Ziele eine große Rolle.
Das Ziel dieser Arbeit ist es attraktive Geschäftsmodelle zu identifizieren, die sich positiv auf die
Umsetzung der Energiestrategie auswirken. Zusätzlich sollen universell anwendbare Richtlinien definiert
werden, welche es Interessenten erlaubt, situativ das optimale Geschäftsmodell zu identifizieren.
Um die makroökonomischen Faktoren zu beobachten, welche den aktuellen Schweizer
Photovoltaikmarkt beeinflussen, wurde eine PESTEL-Analyse durchgeführt. Eine ausgeprägte
Literaturrecherche sowie Interviews wurden benutzt, um die grosse Bandbreite der Geschäftsmodelle
diverser Anbieter im Schweizer Markt zu analysieren. Um die Geschäftsmodelle zu bewerten wurde ein
Marktsegment ausgewählt. Eine Kosten-Nutzen-Analyse wurde durchgeführt, um die
Amortisationsdauer der PV-Systeme für das jeweilige Geschäftsmodell zu bestimmen. Für jedes
Geschäftsmodell wurden Richtlinien erstellt, basierend auf Informationen aus der Literaturrecherche
und den Interviews.
Die Kosten-Nutzen-Analyse der verschiedenen Geschäftsmodelle zeigt auf, dass eine Kombination
zweier Geschäftsmodelle die kürzeste Amortisationsdauer erzielt. Eines dieser Geschäftsmodelle
konzentriert sich auf den direkten Verbrauch von erzeugtem Photovoltaikstrom, das andere auf die
virtuelle Speicherung des Überschussstroms. Diese Lösung variiert jedoch von Anbieter zu Anbieter.
Grund dafür sind Unterschiede in der Kostenstruktur.
One of the main objectives of the Swiss energy strategy 2050 is to increase the renewable energy share
in the Swiss energy mix. Solar energy being an inexhaustible and abundant in the environment has a big
role in fulfilling this task. The primary aim of this thesis is to find attractive business models that would
help to tackle the Swiss 2050 energy strategy, and to develop guidelines that would help potential
photovoltaic stakeholder to find their most suitable business model.
A PESTEL analysis was performed to monitor the macro-economic factors that affect the current Swiss
photovoltaic market. Literature research and interviews were conducted to analyze the various business
models offered by different providers in the Swiss market. A specific market segment is selected to
implement the business models. The different business models were then compared using a costbenefit
analysis that determined the payback period for the PV-systems. Guidelines were designed for
each business model with the information obtained through literature research and interviews.
The cost-benefit analysis of the different business models for the selected market segment revealed
that a combination of two business models attained the fastest payback period compared to the others.
One of the business models focuses on the direct consumption of generated photovoltaic electricity and
the other on virtual storage of the excess electricity. However, this solution varies from one provider to
another as the cost structure differs.
