- In meiner Arbeit präsentiere ich die wichtigsten Resultate der Ortsanalyse und ordne diese ein.
Dieser Text erläutert meine eigene Haltung und die Ziele, die ich mit meinem Projekt erreichen
möchte.Die soziale Diversität im Bestand erachte ich als schwach, was eine Schwachstelle für die
Zukunftsfähigkeit der Büttenenhalde darstellt. Der Umstand, dass Wohnraum im Privateigentum
über viele Jahre dem Wandel der Zeit trotzt und sich nicht an die neue Gesellschaft anpasst, wird
in naher Zukunft zu einem Schock führen. Dies hängt massgeblich mit dem Wohnungsmix
zusammen. Dabei sind nicht nur die Dimensionen der Wohnungen, sondern auch die Wohnformen
zu wenig divers. Die Büttenenhalde wurde als Schlafstadt geplant, was sich stark auf die Qualität
der Zwischenräume auswirkt, da diese weitgehend ungenutzt bleiben.
Obwohl die Zwischenräume eine hohe Qualität aufweisen – sie sind grosszügig dimensioniert und
verfügen über ein bemerkenswertes Mass an Biodiversität – können sie kaum genutzt werden, da
eine problematische Nachbarschaft mit den Wohnungen entsteht.
Meine Haltung zur Büttenenhalde ist, dass in den Bereichen der sozialen Diversität und der Zwischenraumsqualitäten
Handlungsbedarf besteht. Ein diverseres Angebot an Wohnraum reagiert
besser auf die zeitgenössische, diverse Gesellschaft. Eine durchmischte Bewohnerschaft fördert
wichtige Beziehungen innerhalb der Gemeinschaft, die zu einer robusten Gesellschaft beitragen.
Sowohl die Wohnungen als auch die Zwischenräume sind hierfür grundlegend.
Der Ort hat seine Identität, Wohnqualität sowie ein gewisses Mass an Urbanität und Biodiversität,
und es wäre riskant, dies komplett ändern zu wollen.
Mein Ziel ist es daher, die Grundlage für eine diversere soziale Gemeinschaft zu schaffen. Ich plane,
zusätzliche Gebäude entlang der Strasse bei der Etappe 1 und auf der Verkehrsinsel zu errichten.
Zudem nehme ich kleine Anpassungen am Angebot der Zwischenräume vor, wobei ich Rücksicht
auf die bestehenden Wohnscheiben und die biodiversitätswertvollen Bäume nehme.
Meine Vertiefung liegt auf der Konstruktion (Holzbau) und dem grossen Begriff der Nachhaltigkeit.
Dies umfasst vor allem die Rückbaubarkeit, die Materialwahl, die Langlebigkeit sowie den Umgang
mit der Natur vor Ort.
In my work, I present the most important results of the site analysis and categorize them. This text
explains my own attitude and the goals that I want to achieve with my project.I consider the social
diversity in the existing buildings to be weak, which is a weakness for the future viability of
Büttenenhalde. The fact that privately owned housing has defied the changing times for many years
and has not adapted to the new society will lead to a shock in the near future. This is largely due to
the housing mix. Not only the dimensions of the apartments, but also the types of housing are not
diverse enough. Büttenenhalde was planned as a dormitory town, which has a major impact on the
quality of the spaces in between, as these remain largely unused.Although the spaces in between
are of high quality - they are generously dimensioned and have a remarkable degree of biodiversity
- they can hardly be used because of the problematic neighborhood with the apartments.
My position on Büttenenhalde is that there is a need for action in the areas of social diversity and
the quality of the spaces in between. A more diverse range of housing responds better to today's
diverse society. A mixed population promotes important relationships within the community that
contribute to a robust society. Both the housing and the spaces in between are fundamental to this.
The place has its identity, residential quality and a certain degree of urbanity and biodiversity, and it
would be risky to want to change this completely.
My aim is therefore to create the basis for a more diverse social community. I plan to erect
additional buildings along the road at stage 1 and on the traffic island. I am also making small
adjustments to the range of spaces in between, taking into account the existing residential windows
and the biodiversity-rich trees.
My focus is on construction (timber construction) and the important concept of sustainability. This
includes, above all, deconstructability, the choice of materials, longevity and dealing with nature on
site.
