Gemäss dem Industriepartner ist kein Angebot an Backsteinöfen in Georgien vorhanden, jedoch besteht eine rege Nachfrage.
Die Methodik umfasst eine systematische Literaturrecherche, eine qualitative Forschung, Design Thinking Methoden und eine Technologie Scouting Analyse. Die qualitative Forschung beinhaltet Interviews mit Experten diverser Produktionsbereiche, einen Professor der Hochschule Luzern Technik und Architektur und einen Ingenieur aus dem Bauwesen.
Das resultierende Business Model zeigt die wichtigsten Faktoren und Rahmenbedingungen auf. Das erstellte Herstellungskonzept verringert den Arbeitsaufwand und die Herstellungszeit gegenüber dem bestehenden Herstellungsverfahren. Mit dem Business Case wird die Rentabilität des Herstellungskonzept geprüft. Das erstellte Herstellungskonzept soll den Arbeitsaufwand und die Herstellungszeit verringern. Basierend auf den Resultaten der Arbeit wird der Markteintritt empfohlen.
This bachelor thesis develops in a manufacturing concept, a business model and a business case for the company Farina Tbilisi. The industry partner for the bachelor thesis is the owner Rainer Kyburz. Rainer Kyburz operates two pizzerias in Tbilisi, Georgia. The distinguishing feature of Farina Tbilisi are the artisanal pizzas, which are high quality thanks to the brick oven. According to the industry partner, while there is no supply of brick ovens in Georgia there is a strong demand.
The methodology includes a systematic literature review, qualitative research, design thinking methods and a technology scouting analysis. The qualitative research includes interviews with experts from various manufacturing fields, a professor from Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, and an engineer from the construction industry.
The resulting business model identifies the most important factors and framework conditions. The manufacturing concept created reduces labour and manufacturing time compared to the existing manufacturing process. The business case is used to test the profitability of the manufacturing concept. The resulting manufacturing concept should reduce the amount of work and the manufacturing time.
